Service times at Saint Mary Magdalene

The church of St Mary MagdaleneYou are invited to join us at any of our services.

You don’t have to be a Christian or church member – everyone is welcome.

Please note - we currently have no permanent Vicar so times and types of services may have to change - please always check our Special Services page for information about any changes.

09.15 First, second and third Sunday in the month

Holy Communion in Common Worship style.
This service lasts about 50 minutes and hymns are sung.

These services include the with the act of communion, when we join together at the altar to eat bread and drink wine to remind us of the last meal Christ ate with his followers.  Everyone is welcome to join with this part of the service.  If you prefer you can come to the altar to receive a blessing or remain sitting in your pew.

11.00 First Wednesday in the Month

Holy Communion in Common Worship style.
This service lasts about 40 minutes - no hymns are sung.

09.15 Fourth Sunday in the month

All Age Worship.
A less formal service without Holy Communion, which lasts about 45minutes. 
Children are welcome at all our services, though this service is one that may be preferred by parents.

10.00 Fifth Sunday in the month

United Service of Holy Communion

This service is held either at All Hallows or at Saint Mary Magdalene East Keswick. Please check our special services page for details.

Regular services are also held at our Parish Church of All Hallows in Bardsey.
